In May 2004, PINS volunteers worked the county-wide Rabies Vaccination Clinic. What better place to tell folks about the importance of spaying and neutering pets than at an event held specifically to vaccinate dogs and cats? Dozens of dogs and cats were spayed or neutered as a result of that day's efforts, and hundreds of people learned about the Pets in Need Society.
